GIS-Pro 2016: URISA’s 54th Annual Conference
October 31-November 3, 2016
Westin Harbour Castle - Toronto, Ontario

Geospatial information is everywhere, at everyone’s fingertips and URISA as an organization has been at the forefront for the past  50 years, through global technology and social shifts.  In the time it took you to pull up the description of this conference, perhaps on your phone, tablet or laptop, you have already considered the conference location, investigated the good eats and conference events, and mapped all of your indoor and outside activities.  URISA connects members and partners with the educational, networking and collaboration resources that professionals need to evolve geospatial tools and solutions that respond to real places in real time.

Join the GIS Community in Toronto, Ontario for a powerful, collective exchange of GIS knowledge!

Professional Planners: Be sure to note the workshops and sessions that have been approved for AICP-CM credits. Nearly 50 AICP-CM credits were approved for this year’s program!

Creating an attendee profile within Sched DOES NOT REGISTER you for the conference or specific workshops. You must register for the conference here.

Note: If you get a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Westin Harbour Castle saying that there is now a cheaper rate... just hang up. It is a scam.

Dynamic Visions GIS
GIS Consultant
McCall, Idaho
GIS Consultant and owner of Dynamic Visions GIS. With over 10 years of experience in GIS, I have worked with local, state, and federal government entities, as well as the nonprofit and private sectors. I spent the last five years building and coordinating a County-level GIS program, with my previous experience being focused on Natural Resources, Environmental Science, and Land Management.

I focus on systems thinking, adaptable approaches to systems solutions, and online application development. My capacity to build a GIS program, improve efficiency, increase public access to information, provide methods of asset tracking, and quickly adapt to a changing environment has resulted in many successful project resolutions and Global recognition through ESRI’s Special Achievements in GIS (SAG) awards (2021).

I am an active member of the community through participation on multiple boards and committees. These experiences range from leading sub-committees and planning conferences for URISA International, helping to plan conferences as an officer and Treasurer of Northern Rockies Chapter of URISA, and volunteering for nonprofits in my local community.
