Samir is the GIS Technician\Information Processor in the Infrastructure Delivery Department at the City of Vaughan. He is responsible for providing GIS solutions to all the departments within the Public Works Portfolio. Samir has worked in the field of GIS for over 10 years providing his services to various companies in the US, Regional Municipality of York and currently, City of Vaughan. He has Master's Degree in Geography from St. Cloud State University, Minnesota and is currently working towards certification in Management of Enterprise Data Analytics from the University of Toronto. He also holds CET (Certified Engineering Technologist) and GISP (Geographic Information Systems Professional) certifications from Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) and Geographic Information Systems Certification Institute (GISCI) respectively.
