Sara is a founding partner in Spatial Focus, a GIS consultancy started in 1998. Her work with Spatial Focus has been all over the United States, with international projects in places such as Abu Dhabi, Serbia, Indonesia and Malawi. She manages Spatial Focus production staff, often using open source GIS to build master address repositories. She is a member of the Address Standard Working Group, chairing the Quality Control section of the FGDC Thoroughfare, Landmark and Postal Address Data Standard. Sara is a former GIS Manager for local, regional and state organizations, and currently serves as Vice-President of Georgia URISA.
